Unique.

I absolutely love Cayden's eyes. I know there's a chance they can still change, but I hope they don't. He has one of his mom's eyes & one of his dad's eyes.

brown eye & a blue eye

Yummmmmy.

Dr. Judie gave me the okay to start giving Cayden cereal and he loves it. I give him about 2 Tsp every night before his last bottle. He can be pretty messy sometimes, but most of it usually makes it in his mouth. The picture in his Cardinals outfit was his very first time trying it out, yummm. He's growing so fast. Next it will be veggies, can't wait.

STYLiSH.

I absolutely LOVE having a lil boy, however...I think that there are so many more cute girl outfits everytime I go shopping. Shopping for boys takes a little bit MORE effort but it's not impossible. Last week I had Cayden in the most stylish outfit yet. His shirt says, Mom's Little Angel. And can you see the shoes? He has lil Vans. Cutest thing in the whole entire world!!!! I love him so much. One promise I made to him was he will never ever dress like a nerd. Ha Ha.

cayden LOVES his cousins.

On June 12th, my sister and brother in law drove out from Texas to visit and drop off my niece, Alyssa & nephews, Jakob and Gabriel for 3 weeks. We've been so busy, the house is crazy & there's never a dull moment. I used to see them at least once a week when they lived here, but now it's only every few months or so. I miss them so much. Next Thursday we'll be driving them back to Texas, it'll also be Cayden's first road trip. I'm sure he'll do fine, he's the best baby ever. As for the kids, I wish I could take them to do fun things but everything is so expensive these days and I don't have any income yet. Quality time at home is good enough though.

4 months already!

Cayden turned 4 months old on June 11th and I can't believe how big he's getting. That day he had his 4 month check up. He weighed 15lbs & 14 oz and his height was 25.5 inches. He is in the 70% percentile for weight and 75% percentile for height. I also learned that day his pediatrician no longer accepts his Humana insurance. Soooo stressful. I decided to go ahead and pay his doctor visit out of pocket and am still waiting for the bill. I hope it gets lost in the mail, lol. Dr. Judie said Cayden is doing great and she loveddd his chubby cheeks. She even gave us the okay to start cereal.

changes.

A lot has changed in my life since the last time I posted a blog. Actually, that day I was laid off from my job. I had been with that company almost 4 years. Kind of a bummer, but so excited I get to stay at home with my Cayden now. I'm thinking about going back to school...but still not sure yet. So many decisions to make...

no more spitting up.

babies spit up, right? well cayden has been spitting up SO much lately. completely soaking his burp cloths. is this normal? it doesn't bother him at all, but i am constantly doing laundry cus i run out of the burp cloths. well, it's gotten so bad lately that i called his pediatrician and got the okay to try a different formula. he's now on similac sensitive rs. we started it last night, i think at first it may have upset his tummy a bit. i guess i thought it was going to work instantly, silly me. today he seems to be doing much better. no spitting up with his morning bottle & his babysitter emailed me letting me know he's doing fine. only a lil bit of spit up with his 9 o'clock bottle. i'm so happy and relieved. now i just gotta find a place where i can get a BiG container. wish me luck.
my widdle guy as happy as can be.
